The center will act as a multi-disciplinary, long-term R&D, collaboration, and capacity-building hub in the area of carbon capture, utilization (CCU). The NCCCU will be nodal for state-of-the-art research and application-oriented initiatives in the field of CCU, having close association with industries, government, and leading research institutes in India and abroad. The cross-disciplinary training through the NCCCU will develop a deep understanding and problem-oriented approach in next-generation researchers, working in different dimensions of CCUS.
